what is x=ky+c

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

An equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ what i was thinkin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i know but you know how y=mx+b is a linear formula what formula is x=ky+c

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Well, I guess it can still be a linear equation, where 'y' is the independent variable and x is the dependent variable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i guess so

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Even if you solve it for y, and keep x as the independent variable, it would still be a linear function.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Or relationship.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well technically i don't need to solve anything using that formula my teacher just asked me to search it up for homework and write it down on a paper to explain to the students the next day.But you are right even though you find "y" or "x" it would come out the same either way
