Yes: area of triangle is (1/2) base x height and the height is 6m. You could find the area of the parallelogram equation or just make two more triangles out of it by bisecting it diagonally. You have three triangles with heights = 6, one base of 12 and two bases of 10 A = (1/2)(6)(12 + 10 + 10) = one of the options they list.
