It's fairly clear what you want here, but next time please include the directions.
Solve for x, if log x = 2.6.
Without going into a lot of detail yet, the result you want can be found by using log x as the exponent of 10 on the left side of a new equation and 2.6 as the exponent of 10 on the right side:\[10^{\log x}=10^{2.6}\] How would you simplify / evaluate this to obtain x?
