I know what the answer is, but i need someone who can explain it to me please. A manufacturer determines that the number of drills it can sell is given by formula d=-4p^+160p-270, where p is the price of the drills in dollars. A. at what price will manufacturer sell the maximum of drills?

This is d=-4p^2+160p-270 if so, you can differentiate d with respect to p, then equate it to 0 (d is maximized) dd/dp=-8p+160 = 0 => p = 160/8 @Diana047
