What is the average rate of change from x = 0 to x = 4?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Use the slope formula. That gives you the average rate of change across an interval. In this case, from x=0 to x=4. \[avg. ROC = \frac{f(4) - f(0)}{4-0}\]
