Writing 17 Online

Okay, so I have to write a script, and I have no clue what the plot should be? Any suggestions?

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

How about this: Student doesn't know what to write about so the go online and ask for suggestions. She uses those suggestions and the teacher thinks it's a great script. Teacher makes a big deal about it and suggests student write a school play. She goes back online and gets more suggestions. Somebody even helps write it. Teacher thinks it's wonderful and nominates student for an award. Student wins the award and a trip to a writers conference. Student goes to the writers conference. While they're she's asked to help with another script. Student goes online again. Gets lots of ideas. Goes to the meeting of other authors and shares the ideas. Only to realize that everyone else at the script meeting are the same people she's been getting ideas from all along. Big embarassment. You could make it turn out that the other writers have a good laugh and everything is OK or the other writers expose her as a fraud. Depends on your point of view I suppose.

Cannot top that. Usual plots: hero has goal faces difficulties gets it or does not is happy or not with the result
