A teacher places pieces of paper numbered 0-9 into a hat. if a student is to draw one slip of paper randomly, what is the probability that the number will be less than 10
@jN7
50%. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 <--- 5 that you can pick 5,6,7,8,9 <-- 5 that you can't. Therefore 50%.
hope it helps

can u explain to me why?!
if im reading it right, every number in that set is less than 10 so any number you draw will be less than 10
therefore you have a 100% chance of getting a number less than 10 and since probability ranges from 0 to 1 with 1 equaling 100% the answer is 1
your right! thanks for your help(:
I need help on this one too
