50%. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 <--- 5 that you can pick 5,6,7,8,9 <-- 5 that you can't. Therefore 50%.

hope it helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the choices are a) 0 b) 1 c) 1/10 d) 9/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u explain to me why?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if im reading it right, every number in that set is less than 10 so any number you draw will be less than 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore you have a 100% chance of getting a number less than 10 and since probability ranges from 0 to 1 with 1 equaling 100% the answer is 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your right! thanks for your help(:
