A coordinate system (in meters) is constructed on the surface of a pool table, and three objects are placed on the table as follows: a 7.0-kg object at the origin of the coordinate system, a 17.0-kg object at (0, 2.0), and a 19.0-kg object at (4.0, 0). Find the resultant gravitational force exerted by the other two objects on the object at the origin. Magnitude = ?

This is my work. I'm not getting the correct answer for some reason.

OpenStudy (theeric):

It looks good to me! I think maybe the \(5.55{\Tiny\rm E}-10\) could be rounded to match the significant figures of \(7.0\rm\ kg\), but it looks good.

OpenStudy (theeric):

Then the answer would round up to \(2.1\times10^{-9}\rm\ N\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, that did the trick! Thank you Eric!

OpenStudy (theeric):

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help! You did a good job :) Very organized work, thanks.
