Is there any bias in the following survey question? Explain.

Should a state have the power to kill a person for breaking the law?

the judge might have a personal grudge againt the accused?

This is a bias question because its a lot easier for a state to sentence somebody to the death penalty and they don't even have to know the full story

You might argue that the word "kill" has a negative connotation to it..."execute" might attract more yes responses. Also it doesn't specify WHAT law. If it specified "for murder only", more might answer "yes" as well.
