Which of these statements best describes the difference between electromagnetic and gravitational forces in the solar system? Electromagnetic forces have a shorter range than gravitational forces. Electromagnetic forces have a longer range than gravitational forces. Electromagnetic forces are only repulsive but gravitational forces are both attractive and repulsive. Electromagnetic forces are only attractive but gravitational forces are both attractive and repulsive. @Destinymasha @beccaboo333 @cowgirlcrazy66

Electromagnetic forces both repel and attract so it's neither of the first two Electromagnetic forces can have extremely large range, theoretically. But gravitational force is infinite. The answer is: Electromagnetic forces have a shorter range than gravitational forces EDIT: Wait, after rereading this I've just realised, none of those are correct. Electromagnetic forces can be considered infinite... but gravity cannot repel....

for shorter and something that is correct here is my answer! :p

Electromagnetic forces are only attractive but gravitational forces are both attractive and repulsive. That should be the right answer, if my memory serves me well
