The answer is actually in the question itself. "(one of the four suits)" ----> the answer is actually 1/4 Formally....13 of the 52 cards are hearts so the probability is 13/52 ... which simplifies to 1/4
so my answer would be 1/4 ...?

What must be true in order for P (A or B) = P(A) + P (B)? A and B cannot be disjoint. A and B must be independent. A and B cannot be independent. A and B must be disjoint. It is always true. Can you guys help with this one?
