Write the equation in slope-intercept form. What are the slope and y-intercept? -11x + 9y = -12

OpenStudy (praxer):

#y=mx+c is the slope intercept form where m is the slope and c is the y intercept. for the given equation, -11x+9y=-12 =>9y=11x-12 dividing both sides by 9 to make the coefficient of y=1 =>y=11x/9-12/9 =>y=11x/9-4/3 here 11/9 is the slope and -4/3 is the y intercept ( the value of y when x=0)
