prob of a 1 on first die is 1/6, prob of a 5 on second die is also 1/6, therefore.....you either mutliply the two or add

Your probability of rolling a one is 1/6 and the probability of getting a 5 is 1/6. Since it says AND you multiply them and get 1/36 (c).
