Need help with Geometry.
hahaha....I would recomend @AccessDenied on this one.
Ok, so we can start with angle 1. There are 8 angles in the center. If a circle is 360 degrees, you can find angle 1 by using 360/8. This comes out to 45. And now if the last two angles are equal to each other, you can find one by taking 180, the sum of all triangle angles. 180 = angle 1 + angle 2 + angle 3. Now, 180 = 45 + a2 + a3. And now, you can subtract 45 from both sides. This gives you 135 = a2 + a3. Next, since angle 2 and 3 are equal, you can say a2 + a3 = 2 times angle 2. Now you have \[135=2x\]. You can now divide both sides by 2, which gives you 67.5, which is the measure of angle 2. Do you understand what I did?
You don't know if SeanTrujillo is smarter than AcseesDenied just because of SS. Not fair to judge.
Yeah, sometimes I just don't see the obvious. Thanks for the help.
Not to mention that they were already in the middle of typing a reply. I prefer to see what others say first. :P
I know right.
No problem :D Glad to help
