what factors contribute to earths climate

I think there are basically two categories, natural and human influenced factors. Naturally, there's the solar energy from the sun, volcanic eruptions, etc. Human influence would include green house gases. I think the earth's axis plays a part too. In the sense that because it's slightly tilted and as the earth rotates, there's differential amount of light received in the norther and southern extreme ends. Hope this helps
