equation for a parabola with its vertex at (2, -2) and focus at (-1,-2) Sorry fir asking twice didn't mean to close it, and couldn't figure out how to reply from a mobile device

You'll find it a lot easier to work on OpenStudy on a computer (rather than on a mobile device). But it's your choice! Find the (positive) distance between the vertex and the focus of this parabola. You might want to draw a graph showing the locations of both. Have you seen this form of the equation of a parabola before? If so, where does the " p " come from? \[4p(x-h)=(y-k)^2\]
