Zeros are also the x intercept, there's only 2 so it;s not A or B. If the degree was 3 (odd) the sides would be going in different directions, one would be going up and the other would be going down. If the leading coefficient was negative the sides would be facing down.

Clearly the degree is even, and the leading coefficient is positive.

If the leading coefficient was negative the sides would be facing down, depending on it's degree of course. If it's even then yes both sides would be facing down, if it was odd the left side would be facing up and the right side would be facing downwards.
