D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be more than one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Seems like A and C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait NOT D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AAAAAAAAAAA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scandinavia is originally the Vikings home and they traveled by boats so obviously they would need easy access to the seas or else they wouldn't have chosen the land.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a and c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Long coastlines also seem the most approriate because that also contribues to A, access to seas. The other two don't male sense. long summers? it was always cold in scandinavia.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A and C seem the most logical answers yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i have a few more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mark each statement if it describes geographic and climatic features of Scandinavia that encouraged people to go to sea. A. scarcity of farmland B. harsh winters C. large herds of cattle you can pick more than one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think one of the answers is a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well why would people want to go to sea in the first place....I mean if their in Scandinavia, and Scandinavia encourages them to go to sea does that mean they are encouraged to leave? Question is a bit confusing. I think here however that the answer is C...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A could be an answer to, less farmlands means there isn't much population so they can thrive without opposition, but scarcity of farmland could also mean there isn't much area to grow anything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its a and c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Seems most likely...but I'm not 100% sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Need anymore help?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

It wasn't "long summers" that was an answer choice, it was "hot summers"...and Scandinavia isn't exactly cold in the summer time, though I wouldn't call it hot, either. Remember, they get a LOT of sun during the summer :-)
