When describing how power and work are similar you would want to mention that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Power is work done per unit time.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

power = d(work)/dt. work = int(power)dt. IOW they are, in some sense, the same thing really. completely abstract ideas, connected by time, which is but another completely weird concept, which seems in and of itself to be "driven by" energy (thus power and momentum). you simply cannot win!!!
