It is 22%.
I used a method that I learned when I was in sixth or seventh grade.

First, you multiply both 500 and 110 by 2.
This gives you 220/1000.
Then, you can eliminate one zero from both numbers. (220, 1000)
You are left with 22/100. This is the same as 22%.
