explain how flowering plants reproduce

Flowering plants are also known as angiosperms.  They reproduce by both sexual and asexual means but the flowers are sexual organs of the flowering plants.  They reproduce by producing male and female gametes in their respective structures.  Pollination precedes fertilisation.  An embryo is then formed.

Flowering plants reproduce through the process called pollination. There are different types of pollination: Animal pollination; Insect pollination; Wind pollination..etc.
