Which does not describe the power of a boycott in seeking change? A. They show that many people are concerned about a cause. B. They use the court system to address issues of injustice. C. They are nonviolent and do not break the law. D. They work through economic rather than political means.
I'd probably go with (B). A boycott does everything else, but it doesn't necessarily go to the courts. For example, if people were upset about Twinkies for being too sugary, they wouldn't go to the courts to make them do something since you can just choose not to eat them. But if a lot of people were upset over sugary Twinkies, they could decide to boycott the product by choosing not to buy it. If enough people boycott those super sugary Twinkies, the company might decide that putting too much sugar might not be such a good idea and change their Twinkies in order to keep selling them.
yes thats correct submitted it and got an 80 something so thx
