XD beyond me lol

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I would do this. \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf a_n=4n-3 }\) is the recursive formula. \(\LARGE \color{blue}{ \bf a_1=4(1)-3=4-3=1 }\) \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf a_{10}=4(10)-3=40-3=37 }\) \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf S_{10}=5(a_1+ a_{10})~/~2=? }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

hold on...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf S_{10}=(a_1+ a_{10}) \div 2 \times 10 }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

ognore the s_10 in my first blue post, and use the last one I wrote just now.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

(a1+a10 ) / 2 is the average term times 10, to find the sum.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what would I plug in would it be 4*1+3*10?
