OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so did you understand it? involves understanding of liquid crystals... thermotropic ones .. they are basically used in temperature detection.. different temperature = different colors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have one and when i take it off it turns black when i put it on it turns blue

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well.. ur surface body temperature is usually higher than surrounding temperature low temperature = black color (cause the crystals apparently absorb everything) when u put it on, the stone gets your body temperature which is usually higher (when u hug someone u feel that right? ) that twists these crystals and it selectively absorbs some light and reflect some other (apparently blue in ur case)
