help me please i need to get a good grade on this!!!!!!!!!

Find the values of a and b. The diagram is not to scale.|dw:1398461862226:dw|

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

I'm assuming that's an Isosceles trapezoid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. a=115,b=71 B. a=115,b=65 D. a=109,b=65

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kirbykirby

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Shay17 this one

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Is there a "C" option?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i picked but got it wrong

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

None of these options make the sum of the interior angles to be 360 though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c. a=109,b=71

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is what i picked

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Ya that doesn't work either :S.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so confused !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what i do if the answer choices aint correct??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got that one wrong too and i chose D so my next guess would def be B

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

@jdoe0001 I was assuming that too, but then the sum of the angles is only 330

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea dont it supposed to b 360?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True I honestly have no idea what this answer would be

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Honestly, NONE of these options make any sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me either

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

If the figure were a trapezoid, these pairs of angles would be supplementary: |dw:1398462982865:dw| Because they are on the same side of a transversal (the non-parallel side) I think you may have to contact whoever gave this assignment that there is no listed correct answer. That way they can sort it out?

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Ya.. there must be a typo I would imagine...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh .... this aint the first time but i will do

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Yea, mistakes are always possible on both sides. At least it shows some initiative to be asking for the clarification because you know how to do it but you know none of these work. :)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

|dw:1398463747849:dw| now "b" side.... is the remaining from 360 degrees - ( a + 65 + 100) but is not the choices you listed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for yalls time and knowledge !!!

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok @Shay17 time to email the teac her and raise some hell !!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would mean that b is 105 degrees and that is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is not an option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100+65+90=255 360-255=105 which can't be B so i disagree with your statement

OpenStudy (anonymous):

105 is too big to be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bcr1997 i'm not talking about the options i'm talking about his/her picture --> @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me know what our teacher says @bcr1997 b/c it's def no answer to choose from

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1398463772293:dw| When two lines are parallel sum of internal angles =180 Here <A+<B=180
