Need help searching for some sports..I have to find the physics behind these sports. I already did half of them and now i still need to look for these ones: Bowling Equestrian Fencing Synchronized Swimming Table Tennis Taekwondo Tennis Trampoline Triathlon Volleyball Water Polo Waterski Wakeboard Weightlifting Wrestling I will really appreciate it, if someone will help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you specify what you mean by physics? what exactly do you need found?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything .. like for example i have golf, physics part can be about momentum, aerodynamics, projectile, etc..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, ok so do they all have to be different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not necessary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bowling --> you could do centripetal force, or gravity, it keeps the ball rolling Equestrian --> the movement of the horse's muscles, propulsion... Fencing --> i have no idea... maybe momentum?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Synchronized Swimming --> principles of fluid physics Table Tennis --> The momentum of the paddle goes into the ball... Taekwondo --> I think this one would also be momentum, because you have to put energy into the kicks and stuff...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tennis --> see table tennis, its about the same thing... Trampoline --> Newton's Law of Motion Triathlon --> depends on what 3 sports are in the triathlon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volleyball --> the momentum of your body into the ball, then the aerodynamics as the ball goes up then down.... Water Polo --> see synchronized swimming Waterski --> same as synchronized swimming Wakeboard --> sorry, I really don't know what this is :( if you could explain it to me maybe i could help...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm searching all the sports one by one on the internet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Weightlifting --> gravity pushing against you as you are lifting weights Wrestling --> gravity pushing down... and inertia in their motion... oh, and ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH... ok, now I know what wakeboarding is... Wakeboarding: Projectile, and momentum, because you have to have enough movement to make your board fly up into the air.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does this help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a little :) thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, you're welcome, glad I could have been of some assistance :D
