OpenStudy (anonymous):

suppose the newspaper states that the probability of rain today is 30%. What is the complement of the event "rain today"? What is the probability of the complement?

OpenStudy (paki):

The complement is the probability that it DOESN'T rain = 70% = 0.7... and the probability of an event (raining) and its complement always add to 100%... @dianaaalizbethhh
