how to decide between action and reaction pair,i mean when a block is press by 2N of force it pushes the cause by the same force then what is causing its motion?
You said it: the 2 N force acting on the block. The reaction force acts on a DIFFERENT system, so does not affect the block itself.
well action and reaction forces are on different bodies when u push with 2N force if it's more than bodies inertia it will absolutely move that's cuz of reaction.
if action force just acts vertically downwards reaction force which is equal to action force acts on the body.... but dont cause any motion .... motion is only possible if force is applied at some angle to the vertical
The 2N force causes it to move. You are confused as you think the 2N force is canceled by the reaction force. ACTION AND REACTION DO NOT CANCEL EACH OTHER OUT THEY ACT ON DIFFERENT BODIES. (REMEMBER THIS!!!!!) 2N force acts on the block, While reaction acts on the body applying the 2N force.
