Which of these statements is correct about the continental drift theory and plate tectonic theory? They are explained with the help of nonobservable facts. They are proved valid by evidences that are nontestable. They are based on evidences obtained from investigation. They are accepted by scientists because they are historic.
well the evidence is that the continents look like like they once fit together, dinosaur fossils also seem to indicate this because they find the same fossils in america as they do in africa so they had to be connected at some point. Also, there today you can see ridges on the ocean floor that spew out lava and so push the plates away as well as clear plate boundaries and volcanic and seismic activity along those borders (just look at google earth) so I dont know, it could be based on current and historic investigation... id say the 3rd answer is correct (obtained form investigation)
