A cube has side length fifteen kilometers. What is its surface area? A.one hundred eighty square kilometers B.three hundred sixty square kilometers C.one thousand three hundred fifty square kilometers D.three thousand three hundred seventy-five square kilometers

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

How many identical faces does a cube have? What shape are they? If the side length is \(s\), what is the area of one face? Multiply that by the number of faces to get the total surface area of the cube.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you going to answer my question or not?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

\[6a ^{2}\] is the formula for the surface area of the cube a is the length that should be enough for you to figure it out yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i said are you going to answer me question or not i just want a yes or a no

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

We are not here to answer you question for you. We are here to help you understand the concept and figure out the answer. So no I'm not going to just answer it for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes or no

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

As I said in that response, no I'm not going to just answer it for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as i said yes or no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Well what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well are you going to answer my question yes or no

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

No I'm not. A simple four function calculator can answer the question for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanx for nothing

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I gave you more than enough to answer the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i want is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thanx !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you see that is all what i wanted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something as simple as that

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@sewagking You posted a response to me earlier which said "<expletive deleted> you dont know any thing". What I do know is that simply telling you the answer will not help you learn anything, and that you will have many occasions in the coming years where you will need to do such a calculation. If your teacher really needed to just have the answer to that question, and didn't care if you were able to find it yourself, I am 99% certain they could have simply figured it out themselves and not involved you in the process. In other words, they want you to work the problem, not just report back the answer. If you don't learn how to work the problem, how are you going to know if anyone who supplies you with an answer is giving you a correct answer? Unfortunately, I have seen cases where people "helping" either are maliciously giving wrong answers to people like you, or simply are not very good at finding correct answers, but don't know it. If you're just going to guess that someone gave you a correct answer, you could save yourself some time by guessing the answer yourself!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who cares

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and stop writing in my question if its not the answer

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Or else what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or else nothing you will go to hell weather you like or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you and me have a problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh pean bean
