A 0.3 kg stone you throw rises 30 m in the air. The impulse the stone receives from your hand while being thrown is

Impulse=change in momentum.

Can you calculate change in momentum here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Using the max height of the stone (the point where v=0) and g=9.8 you can calculate the speed the stone left the hand. Then I guess you say the initial momentum was zero and the final momentum is m*speed_the_stone_left_hand.
