When we talk about a solution we are talking about a liquid! there is no such thing as a solid solution or a gas solution.

@Renato19 there are gas ans solid solutions. For example, Air contain nitrogen in large amount (called as solvent) and others gases in small amount (called as solutes). Alloys are solutions of solid and solid, because alloys are formed by mixing of two metals.
