Factor completely

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Take out commons?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Factor out the GCD first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! I'm horrible at math and don't know how to do this. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically i divided everything on the inside by 6b^4 if you factor out 6b^4:\[6b^4(6b^2-5b-6)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now factor the inside:\[6b^2-5b-6\] factor by grouping: we need to find a numbers that are a factor of 6*-6 and add up to -5 the numbers are -9 and 4 so write the equation as:\[6b^2-9b+4b-6\] \[3b(2b-3)+2(2b-3)\] \[(3b+2)(2b-3)\] is the factored form of the inside

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the factored form is: \[6b^4(3b+2)(2b-3)\]

You are awesome! Thank you! :)
