Okay, which of those numbers go into both 30 and 70?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm 10

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

Yepperz!! (: Annnnnd that's your answer!! o^.^o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks:) for helping me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nooooooo ! It is 210

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

@zarax how do you get 210? it says LEAST common multiple.. so small number..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

70 = 7x2x5 and 30 = 3x2x5 Their "least common multiple" is 7x3x2x5 = 210 Notice that i have used each number only once

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says least because you can find infinitely many multiples of two numbers. Ex: common multiples of 4 and 5 are 20, 60, 80, 100 ... That is why they want the smallest one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm okay what is it cuz i dont want no argument she just came to help

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

@zarax is correct It's been awhile since I've done these kinds of problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can divide 210 by both 70 and 30. Because it is multiples of both of these numbers. And it is the least one. For example 420 is also divided by 70 and 30 but it is not least.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay:) thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not trying to argue actually. It is one of my professors reaction to a wrong answer during lecture :D He says Noooooooo! when we answer something wrongly. It just funny and I use it. That is just it :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay and thanks:)
