I'm here. Ask!
You are too slow man!
Ok so their are two age groups and the ages of the age groups are from a local fitness center Group A. 37, 36, 32, 41, 42, 36, 44, 45 Group B. 26, 40, 38, 36, 42, 40, 40, 36 Of the Statements which is true. 1.) the mean age is the same for both groups 2.)the range of ages is greater in group a the group b 3.)the mode of the ages is for both groups is 36 4.)the median age is the same for both groups
I had a lot to type haha sorry!!
What you can do is calculate the mean, median, range, and mode for both both groups and compare the two results.
Ok Thanks. real quick what is the definitions of all of those? I know how to find them all but the correct terms arnt always with the right numbers.
To find mean age of a group sum their ages and divide the result by number of group members. To find range subtract min age from max age. Mode is the most repeated number. Median is the at the middle of the list.
For group A: Mean = (37 + 36 + 32 + 41 + 42 + 36+ 44+ 45)/8 Range = max-min = 45-32 Mode = 36 (There are two people whose age are 36) Median there are 8 people. That means there are 2 people in the middle. Take their average (mean). Median = (41+42)/2
I got for group a Mean is 39.125 Range is 13 Mode is 36 Median is 39 Group B Mean is 37.25 Range is 16 Mode is 40 Mean is 39 so then the answer is 4. the median is the same for both groups.
can you helpme wrrior please
