What is most likely the slope of the line graphed above? f -1/2 g 1 h 1/2 j -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (shamim):

slope is negative

OpenStudy (shamim):

because the angle of ur given line with negative x axis is an acute angle

OpenStudy (shamim):

tan (theta)=-1/2

OpenStudy (cybershadow):

well slope of the line could be found if we know the two points on the line , in the graph we can see that (-2,1) and (2,-1) lies on the line , so our answer and slope is = y2-y1 /x2-x1 so our slope is =-1-1/2-(-2) = -2/4 = -1/2

Thanks guys! I can't choose a best response there both good hahaha.
