The answer would be A.
Usually, if you are referring to more than one object/thing, the verb for it would not have an 's' at the end. While, if you are referring to a singular object for example 'The book sits on the table' clearly it would have an 's' at the end.
Thus, answer B and C are incorrect. The only answer left is A where there is no 's' at the end of the verb to indicate that you are referring to multiple things, in this case 'books' and 'television'.
