Can anyone please give me some example for me to understand BRITISH ENGLISH AND AMERICAN ENGLISH.It is so confusing for me to differentiate this two language.

There are also differences in the use of prepositions
American: play on a team
British: play in a team


Present Perfect tense is used more often in British English while past tense in more common in American English.

American English: Did you understand?
British English: Have you understood?
