The sequence is arithmetic because it decreaces by a factor of 1/27
The sequence is geometric becuase it decreaces by a factor of 1/27
The sequence is arithmetic because it decreaces by a factor of 3

Can you please explaine?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
geometric sequence is like that
a, ar , ar^2 ,.......
in this sequence
a = 81
then if its geometric then ar must be equal to 3
ar = 3
putting a =81
81 x r = 3
r = 1/27
