In terms of pie what is the volume of the cone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Diameter=14 cm Therefore radius=7 cm slanted height =25 cm Therefore vertical height h = sqrt{(25)^2-(7)^2} =sqrt(625-49)=sqrt 576=24 Therefore, Volume of the cone =(1/3) pi*r^2*h = (1/3)(22/7)*7*7*24[As pi=22/7] =22*7*24/3 =1232 cm^3 [Please note that if the radius or height is 7 units or multiples of 7,it is better to take the value of pi as 22/7,because in that case ,the 7 in the denominator can be cancelled out and we get our answer in integers]

How do you ever know what radius and slanted height is? Information isn't given yet...
