Please help with this one, I have no idea. Thanks Ford Motor Company sells the Fusion SES for $24,400. The Fusion Hybrid sells for $29,975. What is the percentage increase in price for the Hybrid over the Fusion SES? (Round to tenth.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

percent increase = 100 (new price - old price) / old price

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

(higher price - lower price) / lower price.....then multiply that by 100 to get the percent

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

oops....deja vous
