a step-down transformer has more loops on which coil?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

On the primary coil.

OpenStudy (shamim):

the equation is Ep/Es=Np/Ns

OpenStudy (shamim):

Ep=voltage applied in primary coil Es=voltage getting frm secondary coil Np=number of turn in primary coil Ns=number of turn in secondary coil

OpenStudy (shamim):

if Np is greater than Ns then Ep will b greatet than Es

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to the primery because it have to decrese the value which is possible only if the tuns in secondary are less then that of primary..!!
