Calc II Parametric equations question!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im having trouble with the first one... I got cot(pi*u^2/2) for the first one.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you simply apply FTC right ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

slope = dy/dx = (dy/dt) / (dx/dt) = tan(pi*t^2/2)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

evaluate at given parameter values ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH GOD! Lol. I just realized its tan xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got geverything now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got c = t for the second. And the last one the particle speed increases as time increases?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

c = t is right

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

this looks interesting, maybe its a good idea to do some research first...

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

^for describing part c..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmmm Thanks so much! I shall do!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good luck !
