OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (3, 4) and (5, –4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldn"t that be y sub1-x sub2/y sub2-xsub2? Where your y's would be 4 and -4. Your x's are 3 and 5.

OpenStudy (praxer):

$$\ slope = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}$$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[slope, M=\frac{ y1-y2 }{ x1-x2 }\] |dw:1398664883803:dw|
