It does affect people, and instigate awareness and change. I've never read Martin Luther King's Letter but he kinda was the prime example of creating change. In general when you spread the truth about certain social events, like how even Shakespeare did for his time, and create awareness in society people will notice. Even Katniss kind of did that lol
