please please please help someone im begging you:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Show how you solve the following two equations: 6x = 33

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 2/3x=8/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=33/6 is this what u meant? like solve x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes for both please:) tnk you allot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(75)(2/3)x = (75)(8/25) will be 50x=24 x= 24/50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u multiply 75 on both sides because you need to get rid of the denominator before you find x. Question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um... can u help me for a while cuz u seem to get this pre algebra thing and i have a deadline of 3:30:( i would appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got some time. how many questions do you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have nine assignments.:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm list some of them out and i'll see if i can do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kay...Nu-Solving One-Step Equations, Nu-Lesson Quiz,Prop-Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides,Prop-Lesson Quiz, Fu-Lesson Quiz ,In-Solving Inequalities with Addition/Subtraction ,

In-Solving Inequalities with Multiplication/Division Category: Assignment Description: -/10 In-Solving Two-Step Inequalities Category: Assignment Description: -/10 In-Lesson Quiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean specific math questions lol like the one u listed before

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol:) Show how you solve the following two equations: x/8+12 x/2.4=4.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x/8=-12 (move the 12 to the other side by subtracting it) and multiply 8 on both sides to get rid of the denominator, which is x= (-12)(8)= -96). x/2.4= 4.2 (same thing) get rid of the denominator first. in order to get rid of it you have to multiply the denominator, 2.4, on both sides. x=(4.2)(2.4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanx! one moore and an assignment is complete:)Explain how opposites are applied when solving one-step equations. How do you know what to use to solve a one-step equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's say X+5=10 To find X, you need to isolate the X. in order to do that you have to put the (5) on the other side, which is subtracting 5 on both sides, X+5(-5)=10-5, and you get x=5. Is this what ur asking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u want to move on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm you can probably send me a message. i'll answer later since it's 2 am here lol. Need to sleep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kay:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np :) i'm happy to help. Dont feel restrained asking questions. Is "restrained" the right word? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i think:)... i dont know though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol:)
