What is the measure of one angle in the regular decagon?

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

We should first start by finding the total degrees in a decagon.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats The Decagon

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

How can we find the total number of degrees in a 10 sided polygon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide? I don't know... Unfotunatley

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

It's okay. The total measure of degrees in an N sided polygon is (n-2)x180. Again, n is the number of sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 * 180 = 1440 sum of interior angles 1440/10=144 degrees measure of one angle

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

So a triangle which has 3 sides is (3-2)x180= 1x180 =180 (There are 180 degrees in a trianle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The measure of the central angles would be 360/10 = 36 degrees
