what is 5.458333333333333 as a fraction in simplest form? I need help understanding how to convert decimals like this into fraction.

\[x=5.45833333...\] \[10x=54.583333333.....\] subtract \(x\) from \(10x\) to get \[9x=49.125\]as all the other 3's go

then divide by \(9\) to get \[x=\frac{49.125}{9}=\frac{49125}{9000}\] and then reduce if you need to
