No. Russia had no need of an alliance with China after the War.

After the War the Berlin Wall was built giving Russia control over the East half of Germany. The Marshal plan was started to help all of Europe recover - including Germany, Russia was not a fan of this.

Yes, and Russia had no need nor desire for an alliance with China after the war, and if you will remember they had no wish for one with the US either.

After WWII the Cold War began, it was a series of Proxy wars between the US and Russia where one of them supported a side of a smaller war i.e. The Korean War.

However keep in mind that it was a COLD war because they did not want another conflict right after WWII. So it was not considered a "War".

@coke23 Their was NO invasion. The only thing the Western European nations did after the war was take part in the NATO and Marshal Plans to rebuild after the war. NOBODY wanted another war, so their was NO invasion.
