OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. when the tide retreats B. Tide pools are depressions in rocks along the coastline C. that fill with seawater when the tide retreats D. that teem with animals and plants

I believe the answer would be D because it's a simple sentence and it makes sense by it's self. :) Hope this helps

You're wrong. It's B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can't start a sentence with "that". In B, you have a subject and verd, which makes a complete sentence and an independent clause.

Okay, @DessieLuvsJulian We all make mistakes sometimes....lol Sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B. This is because it can stand on its own and still make sense. It is a complete thought
